Our Story

Valor was founded in Ohio by Caitlynn and her husband. It holds a special place in their hearts because it does hold an American military presence. Her father was in the Air Force and her husband was in the Marines.

VALOR isn’t just a word, it is a standard.

In its truest sense, valor means courage, strength, and showing up even when it’s easier not to. It’s about confidence under pressure and the quiet power of knowing your worth. That meaning lives at the heart of everything we do, both for the women who sit in our chairs and the vision behind the business.

For our clients, valor looks like walking through our door ready for a change. It’s the courage to invest in yourself, to take up space, and choose confidence, whether that means adding length, volume, or simply reclaiming how you feel when you look in the mirror. For us as a salon, it is what built us from the ground up fueled by caffeine, high standards, and a slight obsession with perfection. It’s answering texts, mixing color like scientists, placing extensions like artists, and somehow making it all look effortless. It’s caring A LOT about every detail, every client, and every transformation that walks through our door.
